I'm thinking about completely changing the way that the hours work. I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to put them online. Currently, the way that hours are done is that everyone's hours for each show are kept on a card, and it's the clerk's task to write everyone's hours on their card. In addition, the clerk is also responsibe for regularly posting everyone's hours total.
If hours were put online, the cards would probably just not be used anymore. Everyone's "card" would be accessible from the internet, and everyone could see how many hours they have anytime they want. In addition, if someone didn't get hours (or get the right amount of hours) for a show, that person could see this immediately and contact the clerk to change it. Only the clerk would be allowed to edit the site, and the clerk would pass the password to the site onto the incoming clerk every year.
